The building dates back to the 17th century so, as you would expect, there are a wealth of oak beams and open fireplaces to welcome you.
Our comfortable and convivial bars are an ideal spot to meet friends and enjoy a pint, or read the papers over a coffee or a glass of wine. You can also choose from our menu of freshly prepared food made from locally sourced products.
In the winter you can be sure of a roaring log fire to warm the cockles of your heart - and your hands of course. In the Summer the bars offer sanctaury from the heat of the day.
The Public Bar is a focal point for local life with great conversation and where you can catch up with local gossip in a relaxing atmosphere and leads out into the garden.
The Lounge Bar is larger and where people tend to sit and stay for the evening or have pre-dinner drinks before moving to one of the dining rooms. It is a lovely room with antique furniture, paintings and soft lighting - accentuated by candlelight.
